    The title explains it all...

A friend of mine thought Mike's lyrics in the pre-chorus of Numb were "Call him the undertoad, just call him the undertoad"... obviously a mistake I won't let him live down.

Lying From You "Remember listening to all of that Mexican"

I knew he didn't say that, but it's what I heard at the time

First ever listen of Nobody's Listening: "We drop right back in the cut over basement tracks, with rapsack, got you back in the sub lax - rewind that"

I didn't figure it out for quite a while, even though I knew how I heard the line made no sense at all.

When Chester sings "making your heart stop" in Hit The Floor I thought he was saying "licking a Rasta".

    Breaking the Habit -

"I don't want to be the one the battles always choose."
"I don't want to be the one to battle all these Jews."

I don't mean it offensively. It just sounds like that.

    One step closer-

    "I find bliss in ignorance.."
    "I find listening there is.."

I know it doesn't make sense, but i could have sword it said listening something until I read the lyrics.

    Wretches and Kings

The second chorus where Chester is doing his thing. The last line I could have sworn he said in Spanish. I had no clue what he was saying but I would have bet anything that it was in Spanish. So I checked out the lyrics and it is, "No more the sun shall beat down for you".

I had a really good one about 15 years ago or so. When Korn's song "Blind" came out, I thought they said, "I'm sublime", instead of "I'm so blind". And I thought it was Sublime singing, not Korn. I'm dumb.

Back when I first starting listening to Faint, instead of "time won't take this damage anymore", I always heard "time won't taint, this is a gender war".

And I always thought Chester was screaming "I can't faint the way I did before" instead of "I can't feel the way I did before"

Since then my attention to lyrics has gotten MUCH better XD
