I remember playing Super Mario World a lot when I was younger and I still play it a lot today on an emulator. Some of these were played on an emulator due to the fact that an English version wasn't available I think but I had fun playing them 7th Saga, a dragon ball z rpg (forget the actual name of it) Ahhhhh Real Monsters!, Harvest Moon, Paper Boy, Final Fantasy series, Breathe of Fire, Chrono Trigger, Mortal Combat, Donkey Kong series, Secret of Mana, Star Ocean, Star Fox, Castlevania, Megaman series, Aladdin, The Legend of Zelda, Killer Instinct, Shin Megami Tensei

Used to own one (in fact owned about every console from NES onward). Unfortunately they were all sold somewhere along the line (not by myself necessarily). Kinda wishing I still had them, yet at the same time, the fact I can get ROMS for nearly all of them is semi-comforting.
After reading this thread, I realize so many periods of my life are intrinsically linked to which video games I was playing at the time. Kind of pathetic, really.
Not at all. I am the same exact way and I could care less. Good memories are good memories. I don't care if cleaning a bathroom floor linked to one portion of my life, it's memories. These memories are alot better than if I were to clean a floor though, so that's where i'm coming from.
^^^ Agreed memories are memories, the very fact we have the privilege to sit back and play videogames shows how lucky we are to live where we enjoy the luxury, as well as the time period.
