I'd leave it hidden for about the first 50 posts [or whatever the mod queue group is] then after that, it's visible, but you need 500 posts. Just so the extremely new members don't go on a posting fit in hopes of getting the arcade, but the members who lasted through the mod queue get a reward of discovering the arcade. Teaser, sure, but in my special mind, it works out.

 

is that how you can tell people above 1000 posts, their colored username and custon little message under their avatar? they also have those little banner things on the left of their posts. but seriously, did all the people that supposedly have 50,000+ posts really GET that many, or is their some crazy secret admin cheat? example: todd - 1,000,000....

 

I think Todd posted almost all his posts in the news secton.

 

People with 3000+ get a supermember badge, and since I'm special and won a contest, I [and my team] get an omgwtfbbq badge. After 1000+ posts you can change your personal title.

Todd's the only one with a fixed post count [as in, he changed it in the admin control panel]. The rest of us, sadly, so have as many posts as advertised [yes, I have posted over 15k times here, sad, isn't it?]

 

Um...I have 18k, and Andrea, Will, and El Dutcho/THIS IS SPARTAAA! has over 20k. You're not as sad as others

Same thing with my different badge and color. Contest winners.

 

Funny thing is, there was a time where we had the same post count.

 

I am part of that group.

I've been here for like 3-4 years now and I only have 4,000 posts.

 

i've been here since 03' and i've only just clocked up 5,000 odd posts

 

I've only been here for 10months and look at mine.

 

We've been around for the same amount of time and I have 2k.
