Mike has confirmed that although 99% of the demos from Meteora were destroyed, two have survived. One is supposed to be a very rough demo version of Breaking The Habit, with Mike actually doing some vocals and no Orchestra. The other is a demo version of Faint. Let's hope they get out!
whered u read this?
Didn't read. I saw. I am ripping the video and audio to prove he said it. It was on this rock show here in Tampa (maybe other places) called "The Rock Life" when he mentioned how they scrapped alot of the 80 songs the guy was like "Wow everything?" and Mike was like "Yes. We wanted quality after the 18 months, but two demos did come out of it that might float around."
They were destroyed. It's impossible to get them back after they've been destroyed.
See I thought so, but why did 2 survive then?
Two survived because they didn't destroy those two, simple as that. You people need to think for a second before posting a reply.
See I thought so, but why did 2 survive then?
maybe they deleted or "destroyed" the others demos and accidentaly left 2 demos which happens to be those 2. They might be released in their website or on a CD...
They might just be telling you that they destroyed the demos but they might be saved on like a computer or sumthing. thats my opinion.
