U2 and Good Charlotte are pretty populair here in Holland Specially when the new U2 song is out and Good Charlotte's song is getting massive airplay.

How in the world do they decide on the nominees? Linkin Park and Good Charlotte----doesn't seem like they should be up against each other. I'm NOT saying anything against Good Charlotte. It's just that they sound totally different. It seems like LP should be up against some heavier rock or some metal bands. See what I mean?

Okay....I see posts about a lot of metal/hard rock in the other music area. I don't think I've ever read anything about dance/r&b here. Anyway, my point is that LP is hard rock/metal (plus the rap) and they should be up against the same type of music. But it's up to the award people to decide I guess.

OMG. I can't believe we're still on this topic. How about this. You call them what you want and I'll call them what I want. I think they are metal as does many other people. They are labeled as metal. Some people on here get this holier than though attitude as though they know more about LP than anyone else. This is basically an opinion. I think they are metal.
