In a recent interview with Berlaint Jordan, part of The Collective Music Group, information about next year's Honda Civic Tour has come out. Jordan has managed Linkin Park, Staind, Enrique Iglesias, Slash and more. As for the album... (Not 100% confirmed) Source: WretchesandKings
Of course the tour was successful. When you have two major headliners on the same bill that tends to happen. High ticket prices don't hurt the numbers either. EDIT: Although, I guess I shouldn't quite complain about prices. I've paid $40 to go to a show where I was only interested in the headline act. By that logic I should be willing to pay $80 to see two bands that I'd very much like to see.
Wait. So LP would start working in July-August or Rick Rubin would start coming in the studio with them in July-August? Ah, Linkin Park is a woman?
Oh, he again... Well, it comes as no surprise but I really wish they would bring someone new as a producer.
That band has constantly been writing demos. I mean I've seen Viddy's of Mike talking about it. It's very possible the band has been heavily writing music since their tour break. Then after February the band may go into the studio. And based off LT, the studio time only last for 8-12 months or so.
A UK tour would be nice first. And I mean a tour, not one date or a festival. London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow at least.
That would be fantastic. I'd grown so accustomed to waiting 3ish years for each album that this new "always writing" process is really nice.
Especially since the next album will be their 6th album . Reanimation doesn't count as a studio record as it was a remix album. HT, Meteora, MTM, ATS, LT = 5. Therefore next album would be 6th. /picky --- Also, that 2nd quote isn't so much news as it's complete speculation by that fansite. The band did say that they are not touring in the US after Vegas, and that they are always writing new material, but that statement doesn't mean they are going back into the studio in the 2nd half of 2013. Granted that'd be fantastic but right now there's absolutely no confirmation at this point that we will be hearing any new album material in 2014. It's just a speculation based of a infamous "new album every 18 months" quote that the band said a while back. For all we know, they may change their mindset on that and we might go back to the 2.5-3 years between album schedule. It all depends.

Yep, looking by the clues, they all seem to fit with Linkin Park, and that shadowy picture is 99,99999999% Brad.
