Back in October, the Linkin Park fanbase received a nice surprise, a 65 minute podcast conversation between Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong. In the podcast they talked about being excited to reveal to the world what they had been working on, new songs, Linkin Park coming back and other topics. Now, we have received another surprise, a part two to the podcast! In it, Mike and Emily talk about everything that has happened since the first episode. I don't wanna spoil anything so make sure to check out the episode below. or LISTEN TO THE EPISODE HERE What do you think of the episode? Will we get more episodes in the future? Come and discuss in our forums.
Another great conversation between them. I wish they would do another one of this with Mike and Colin.
Oh dang! Another 48 minutes? This band is creating so much content for this album cycle. It's crazy. I enjoyed the first one a good bit. Excited to dig into this one as well!
maybe will listen as a bed time podcast. they better promise to play CTB/GTG and BO on next leg of tour. If not...
I gooooo for itttt Update: They're so kind and humble people, I love their personality. Em is more and more the coolest woman on earth. And she does awesome kickflips. Update 2: Wait, was Mike the one who completed her IN the END tattoo?? Soooo coooolll
So it's Colin we have to blame for having the show open with Somewhere I Belong? I love listening to these two talk about behind-the-scenes stuff. Little tidbits like the Two Faced video being a relatively last minute thing blows my mind, since it's probably one of my favorite videos they've done. I hope they continue doing these. I also think it would be great to have Colin included on one of these. I'd love to hear him and Emily bounce off each other since they were both newcomers to the band. It'd be interesting to hear their collective perspective/experience of starting off in the band.
I found Mike's insight on making new music fascinating. How sometimes they make "B-" music but in the moment they think it's a 10 because it's fresh and exciting in the studio.
Watched this finally. Got to to love how laid-back / fun the vibe of those are. Also, things for next year they can't talk about?
