Linkin Park Shares 'Overflow' From February 5th Show in Monterrey, Mexico

    Linkin Park has just shared a video of 'Overflow' from their performance in Monterrey, Mexico on February 5th. This was the third time the song was ever performed and is one the seven songs from 'From Zero' that has debuted live so far (not counting the short 'Cut the Bridge' segment on the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'). You can watch the video below.

    On the line "Looking up, the sky is falling", a link pops up on the YouTube video, leading to download.linkinpark.com. Here you can download a midi file named 'up.mid' consisting of a short chord progression. Is this from the same song that was teased at the recent LPTV episode? We'll have to wait and see.

    My question is, would they really be teasing us this much for just a From Zero deluxe edition? I’m still hoping it’s a new album… a cappellas and instrumentals now out, almost feels like the end of the album cycle. :think:

    I'm all for a new album and everything, but we're still in the From Zero album cycle given that there are many shows left in the tour this year. Whatever this ends up being I'm excited for it.

    Said this in the shoutbox but I don't think we'll get a DE of FZ. This is either a standalone single or a lead single for an EP that will release in pieces over the tour with live debuts.

    FZ is meant to be a loop. They wouldn't add an extra song on top of that; it just breaks the album.

    This version of the song is outstanding. I wish I could actually hear the backing vocals from Phoenix and Alex during the "we're going down" lines though :lol:

    Yeah, I can't hear any bass guitar either - aside from those things, this sounds so good! Mike and Emily crush it on the vocals

    The end is SAVAGE. Joe's Scratches are cooooool. This song is awesome.. And the tease keeps on and oonn.

    Also: Is Mike using here some of his newly discovered aggresive casualty voice, right?
