As some of you may know P.O.D. has added two new members for their touring cycle of Testify. They have added a percussionist/vocalist and a rhythm guitarist. If go to MTV Overdrive there are a couple performances by the new 6-piece P.O.D. Before the vocals were weak but now the vocals sound great with the backup vocalist and the band sounds overall fuller. Definately worth checking out.

why do they need new people? I saw them twice in 2004 and Traa and Jason do good on backup vocals I understand the 2nd percussionist because there is more drum stuff in this new album but you know......

Well Sonny's voice has never been too great live. I've seen them once and they weren't too good.

i've got several bootlegs and sonny sounds bad in all of them.

plus they probably got the other guitarist because they actually recorded more than one guitar part for the album.

Yeah, I've seen live videos and they're less than stellar.

Although their performance in Times Square in NY for New Years was very good. Maybe they have improved.

Actually, the band are performing in about 40 minutes on Leno, and tomorrow night on Last Call.
