A fellow LP fan I work with was talking to me yesterday about his friend having Linkin Park's sophomore album on their computer. He said it's not Meteora, but was written before Meteora and scrapped. I'm not sure if it's true or a lie, but if anyone else has info on this, let me know. He said he's never heard the songs anywhere else, and it's definately LP.
Okay, here are Three possible explanations; 1) Your friend has downloaded a collection of B Sides & Rarities from Linkin Park & has mistook the compilation for an actual album. 2) Your friend is gullible enough to think that Dry Cell's Disconnected was in fact Linkin Park. 3) He's full of shit because it's not true.
He's most likely mistaking Reanimation as their sophomore album. If that's not the case, then you know it's not true. Then again, what if there was an album that was scrapped? But I guess it's likely not to be true.
I just watched the Meteora DVD again a while ago, and I believe it was Phoenix that said they made an album, but scrapped it. It's near the beginning of the DVD I think.
