Someone somewhere made a comment they might as well just hook up with Ben Burnley and be the new Breaking Benjamin. I'd like that.
I made mention of that in the Shoutbox. I said they could be a supergroup and call themselves "Breaking Grace."
Ha! I like that, but apparently Ben's such an egomaniac I don't think he'd go for it. That is a rad idea, though.
Damn. I'm gonna have to guess that he wanted to branch out, make different sounding music, and the rest of the band wanted to continue to play it safe?
Three Day's Grace just put this on their Facebook: That's kind of unprofessional in my opinion. The smart thing to do would be for both side to just plain shut the fuck up.
Adam has replied with this: It looks like Adam is going to come forward with his 'health issue.' I'm venturing to guess it is depression.
saw on FB the other day, and my opinion, Adam was a bit heartless himself for doing that. Fair enough if he does have a depression or some other kind of illness, he should have at least found the time to tell or warn the rest of thr band mates - his friends(?). Bloody hell they've only just done a freaking album which also has its fare share of responsibilities. Why he couldn't decide to up-sticks before announcing the tour is pretty silly. He knew what would intail. Or if not that. Do the tour, announcing that it will be his last one, then they could have done something really special and gone out with a bang. But alas it was not to be
*edit* just re-read the letter Adam wrote... Hm now according to him the rest of the band where in the wrong. Something indeed most of gone down. I feel sorry for them all, i hope they haven't left things in too much of a sorry state. *edit2* please excuse by double post. My phone and LPA.mobi had a WTF moment and wouldn't let me edit my previous one. please merge my posts if you see fit
Saw him at rock for recovery in NYC last night and well he didn't look to good, he's lost a ton of weight. I swear I think if you just poke him with a finger he would fall over. He avoided talking about the situation but he did say that he would put up a Facebook post soon.
Bennington, if it is depression, it would explain a lot of his actions. It is very hard to come to others and talk about it. When you have clinical depression, just not the everyday emotional woes, you tend to keep it to yourself. It builds and that's all you think about. You don't think about the future, you're stuck in the here and now. You don't think about how you're hurting others or your reputation in their eys, you just hurt. Perhaps being in the band is what triggered his depression, thus his reasoning for sending legal representation to inform the band of what's going on.
This article explains a lot. Honestly if this is true then I support Adam: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=185060
That has been the same story that I've been hearing. I have yet to check out The Transit Of Venus. Good for Adam to keep the heart-felt feeling in what he makes.
