Transit is just the superior version of Life Starts Now. LSN is probably where he really decided to "just make songs for the radio that everyone would eat up", but Transits is a like a better version of it and actually seems a tad more creative.
I loved life starts now, for the most part. _________________________ Well that got ugly, didn't it? Interested in hearing what the band has to say and what Adams music sounds like after this.
I mean it was fine, but my least favorite release from them, and Transit outdoes it in every way, which is made all the weirder by the singer basically admitting "Hey I just wrote crap that would get radio play, I seriously didn't care".
Your probably right. A friend of mine suffers from depression too, and for a while we all thought he was just being unsociable, and constantly kept letting us down when we invited him to things. We completely forgot that it can be a serious medical condition that he has no real control of. It can really have a negative impact on someone's life. If that's what Adam has, that could explain everything.
One-X was probably the most personal album for Adam lyrically, just watch the documentary... deep stuff. I liked their debut album and Life Starts Now was decent, I wasn't much of a fan of their new album, it was too mainstream.
So Adam has played live/released some new solo songs since his departure from 3DG. I don't think they are bad. They are actually quite good. What do you think? "Take Me With You" "It's All In Your Hands" "You're Too Drunk To Drive" "Until The End" "No Regrets" (this one's been out since August apparently.) Well, the dude moved on quickly, that's for sure. Seems like he's been wanting to leave the band for a longer time.
Those were cool, but I feel like I've already hear those kind of songs a billion times. Personnaly, I'm not that interested in rock singer leaving their band to perform solo tracks on acoustic guitar. But it's cool for him to have already moved on.
Yes, I guess that's a good point But it's not about the lyrics, i'ts just about the sound of it, it's something I feel I've already hear lot of times in the radio, or in some random movies, or simply from other bands I quite enjoy. But again, it's cool he's doing this and moving on. I won't be a fan of this stuff, but other will probably be.
