To be completely fair, the recording is shitty, so I think its screwing with the sound. His voice sounds really weird.
The voice is distorted in the video, but he was trying to make it sound true to the original. Again, sounds better live, just figured some people would want to see/hear it.
His singing wasn't very good in that video, it didn't sound like he was singing his own style either. Anyway it was a pretty good cover.
In his defence, that singing isn't his style though. I think he was trying to imitate Axl Rose to tell the truth, and not doing a good job of it.
He was obviously trying to mimic Axl Roses voice, his voice is actually pretty decent normaly. I didn't have a problem with it either, he sounded okay to me. After all, to me it was just a jam session in front of an audience, who gives a shit if his voice wasn't perfect for a couple of minutes whilst imitating someone else?
I guess the vocals don't have to be up to scratch if it's just a kind of jam on stage (in fact Axl Roses vocals are annoying anyway) but to tell you the truth this guy is a terrible vocalist overall in my opinion. I'm never gonna accept that this is Adema unless Marky comes back.
