I think that finding out Mumford and Sons aren't composed of a guy named Mumford and his sons was one of the biggest disappointments for me as a music fan. I felt so lied to. So betrayed.
Respectfully disagree. The new CD is far from terrible but the writing process seems almost lazy. The whole CD consist of all ballads. The bridge is predictable. You know it's coming. Marcus's previous writing was through literature and life lessons. Their previous material was unique and intelligent. I've heard these "I'm sour over heartbreak" type of rock songs over and over and over again. I am still in the transitional phase so my opinion may be biased but time will tell.
