Yeah, this isn't so much of a revolution as it is a bunch of old white fucks gathering on the National Mall in their motorized scooters paid for by Medicare waving confederate and don't tread on me flags yelling about the black guy in the White House getting the government involved in their Social Security. It would be called the Million Moron March if there was going to be anywhere close to a million people and they were physically capable of marching.
Whatever this is, it's not working for me. @ Todd: As much as I wish that were so, I wouldn't be so sure. Unfortunately, even young folks eat that shit up; there are some here, even at my law school, which is a prestigious one at that - my point being that even at places that are otherwise the pinnacle of intelligence, we get a formidable wave of ignorance.
Actually in the Swiss canton of Ticino the people just agreed to a law to forbid Burqas. And a few years ago we forbid the construction of minarets. That's stuff that worries me. The muslims are the new jews. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minaret_controversy_in_Switzerland
Hey it's November 13th. Wasn't something "big" supposed to happen? Eh nothing interesting on the news.
lol that's Alex Jones' site. I had a co worker really into that shit. It wouldn't matter how ridiculous the drivel that guy spouted he bought into it. I thought is hilarious. He's a guy makes his money on fear mongering and I see how gets people hooked but it surprises me that people can't see the holes in a lot of bullshit. If I had a dollar every time I heard him say "It's all been documented" and than not give a source I would be able to afford all the apocalyptic products he pedals.
While alot of what he reports should be given notice, Alex Jones is nothing more than a fear mongering heretic who spouts shit to get ratings.
You've gotta dig deep to find news that is 100% real and isn't solely/partially for ratings. Way deep. That's why the public has no clue what's really going on. Not to mention the mainstream media is basically owned by the government. So the only things you'll know is what they want you to know.
It was the equivalent of a blank stare; an admission that I will respond to such things when they have real intellectual merit, and aren't driven by paranoid, delusional morons, like whoever the OP was referencing (I honestly can't be bothered to remember his name). Whatever his message is, it sure as fuck isn't based in anything even remotely close to reality, and as such, should be treated less as a serious position, and more as a joke. A bad joke.
