"I'm caught staring at the water
Reflections pass as in a dream
Ripples blur and hide my flaws
Clouds tint it the slightest cream

I'm found gazing at the stars
    Pinpricks in an obsidian orb
    Some lights flash on forever
Waiting for their time to absorb

    I'm seen eyeing the forest
    Quiet but thriving with life
While death is the only answer
    Bringing hope by causing strife

    I'm hanging in the balance
    Here in the great design
I can only sit and wonder
At the spirits and the divine"

My first writing in a while, please comment :)

    Thanks :)

I used to write more many moons ago. I wrote this one at 1:30 last night and I think I have some more creative juices for more so you may see me more often!
