    When I had the steel bars removed, and these put in, the guy used ky jelly on my ears and on the plugs, and they still tore. I had surgery on my ears when I was 15, and I think some of the natural elasticity that should be there, isn't.

    Oh, I didn't mean just when you stretch them. It's a daily thing, like you'd moisturise your face. It helps to repair and thicken your lobes.
