No way. Non-violent/violent or whatever. Doesn't matter. I'm angry enough and have no consoles or anything. I just play DDR. Playing a violent game doesn't make me want to shoot people. Stupid people make me want to shoot people. If anything video games period make me more angry at the game itself than people in reality. I think you have to be a little off to blame anything you do on something that's not real.
Of course not, it's not the video game company's fault those teens are absolute idiots and the parents are failures.

T-shirt. Served again. [/b][/quote] My friend has that T-shirt. I grew up playing games like Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Contra, Metalslug, Mortal Kombat, and tons of other bloody, controversial games. Tell me this, am I a corrupt teenager spreading hatred and plotting worldwide genocide? No.
Most of the people I know that blame video games have no experience of said games themselves... parents blame violent games because they're too irresponsible to ensure their kids aren't violent themselves. If anything, games like GTA give you a virtual environment to commit these acts instead of doing them in real life. :whistle:
One word in answer to your question : NO Any kid who is stupid enough to want to go around shooting people or killing people because of what he saw on a video game has something wrong with their head. And yes, the people who say these video games are to blame are the people who have never even touched a console in their life. If they played a game they might just realise that it is just a game and something real bad was going around in little jimmy's head when he decided to mimic it Thankyou and goodbye *exits thread*

I kinda don't know why i made this topic ... lol... this topic itself angers me so much! It's all over the news and TV shows and stuff that video games are to blame for violent teen shootings... I mean, I grew up on Street Fighter! I'm a pretty normal... ok, I'm not normal but I'm not psychotic! Besides, if a kid's going to go around shooting people because of what they saw, I think that movies are to blame to, but who in their right mind would do that!? Someone whos got a low IQ obviosly (someone said that before) shouldn't be playing or seeing these images. Ok, here's one issue that happened once, a kid SHOT another kid in their school because she didn't like him or whatever. Answer me this, HOW DID the kid GET the gun!? The press blamed vid games for this happening... Anyways, I'm done ranting on for now, I hope I didn't bore you or anything... lol
