I've become LPA famous
Life is Complete now
I know. I want the Facebook version because it's better quality. The YouTube version has the volume screwing up.
I wish that chester didn't scream on this song. This song has such nice melodys, they could've done something more creative for the bridge.
I'm gonna make love with this album playing
He's talking about Guilty All The Same. Mike said in another interview also that they showed Daron a song they had already worked on and Daron thought it sounded great so they decided to come up with something fresh.
Not Daron, Tom Morello.
We are teh 4tunate onez.
Finally got screaming?
What about the scream at the end of UIG?
Yeah, I'm quite certain Malakian had a hand in the lyrics.
Fffffuck noooo. He has a fucking horrible voice.
That's the thing. I've found Chester to sound really hollow and disconnected from what he's singing for a while now, particularly the new songs. Though I'm not overly found of Mike in this song.
I've always been a SOAD fan so this is an absolute delight to hear their signature sounding heavy guitars over Mike and Chester, almost makes me want them to do a whole album together (or just a new SOAD album).
Really enjoying this album cycle so far, beside Until It's Gone all songs have been top notch great hard rock songs to rock to. Although not always my taste, I still enjoy that genre when the songs are good, and these songs succeed in that department for me. Big thumbs up from me
Stuck at work so I can't hear it for at least another 2 hours. Signal here is too shit to stream a song.
Unnnnh I caved in after being peer pressured by my (not LP fan) friend. OMG SO GOOD ;_; I don't want to hear it again until the album. Funny enough my friend's first comment was "dem poppy drums." I nearly lold.
IN IN IN IN IN
Album will probably be leaked by then anyways
Btw does anyone have a link for the Zane Lowe interview?
*EDIT* nvm, CBNetwork ftw. Goddam that site is horribly designed though and laggy as hell.
After two listens, there's just SOMETHING about Mike's delivery that makes the lyrics more powerful than they'd have been if sung by Chester, I feel.
Also, I love Mike and Chester's harmonies - Chester's screams were a nice touch too.
All in all, this was just a great effort by the band as a whole. I love the message, I love the delivery, I love the fact that it's gritty and yet still catchy, and I can't wait to hear a higher quality version of the song.
EAT THIS YOUTUBE BITCHES!
That's probably why they got Mike to do the vocals.
And I completely agree with everything you said.
Separate names with a comma.
