Turn on the television. Turn the station to either MTV or Fuse. There you go. Nevermind the MTV thing. They only show those bands when they get really popular.
Yes, because as we all know, all pop and rap is terrible! You forgot Green Day, Hawthorne Heights, and of course Fall Out Boy, however. To answer your question though; I just got the From First To Last record today, and it's pretty good. I don't really have a favorite song yet. Try out At The Drive-In, you may like them. Further Seems Forever is good, but they don't really have screaming, if for some reason you're into just that. and I'm sure that you, like every one else in the world ages 10-25, has heard of Senses Fail, so I won't go into that.
I'm not saying all rap and pop is bad. Just all of it played on MTV is. but thanks, I'll check out At The Drive In. Ive heard From First To Last and I love them. I love any kind of rock from Hot Hot Heat to KillSwitch Engage. doesnt really make a difference to me.
These two bands I really like and maybe you'll like them too. Check them out. Classic Case: http://www.myspace.com/classiccase Trigger Point: http://www.myspace.com/triggerpoint (this band is amazing, imo.)
Out of the songs I've heard on their myspace, I like "Picking Up The Pieces". I need to look into buying their cd. It's so awesome to know someone else has heard of these guys.
This isn't meant as a negative, but I was just listening to Underoath just now, and doesn't the vocalist, when screaming, sound like what a dog with rabies would sound like if it could speak English? I'm completely serious. This isn't even meant as a joke, or a "diss".
Short Of Daybreak was apparently the song I was listening to. Go listen to it, and tell me I'm drunk/crazy.
I don't like their old vocalist, Dallas. His scream is... yeah. But Spencer (their new vocalist) has an awesome scream.
