These are two of my favorite bands and I found out about both through the internet, so this is a really tough decision for me. 12 Stones Their debut album was amazing. Every single song rocked, that's about all I can say. Pillar Pillar is probably my 4th or 5th favorite band. I loved every song on Where Do We Go From Here. There's not much I can say against them, my favorites are Fireproof, Hypnotized, Frontline, and One Thing. Winner: Pillar, I think they narrowly beat out 12 Stones by about a hairline.
I chose Pillar. They're different and "Where Do We Go From Here" wa s agreat album. As for 12 Stones; I can never get into their music. The self-titled had too many songs that sounded the same and even though 'Potter's Field' is an improvement, it's still not my style.
I can't get into 12 Stones, either. They have a few good songs here and there, but I just can't get into it. My vote goes to Pillar.
I said Pillar because I like Fireproof a lot, it reminds me of last summer, which was a good summer for me.
Pillar. If you see through the simple lyrics and the fact that they don't play anything groundbreaking or complex, the music is still good. I want to see them in the Where Do We Go from Here? tour this fall. Anyone else going? I don't like 12 stones because I don't like the style of vocals
Project 86 is on the same tour, so I wish I could. But, P86 is coming to Edmonton next month for the Harvest Moon Festival, so I'm going to see I go there. Sorry for going a little off topic.
I felt the same way the first time I heard them. I think it's just one of those CDs that gets better with each listen. It took me about 7 times around the album to really starting liking them.
I voted for Pillar. I like their single and I think they're a great band. I don't really like 12 Stones that much - they're okay and everything - but I like Pillar much better.
I gave the edge to Pillar cause Where Do We Go From Here is a wicked album. 12 Stones debut album was good but I think that Pillars was that much better.
