he's going back to his roots, so there should be atleast a few of Xero-like songs :wth: .. the serious stuff is probably going to be Kenji or whatnot.. After hearing Petrified im sure that Mike is trying all different types of rhyming and pace.. this is probably a single just because like you said its a party track... if people get his beat and chorus in their heads they can give his album a go and fall victim to the riskier tracks that might not go well in mainstream..

Beat is crazy. The lyrics are kinda bad though.

i loved the chorus.. granted the first time i heard it i was a bit iffy on it.. but when you're singing along or playing RTN real loud.. it works for me

 

Petrified is a great club track. Not-so-great song-wise but its a great song to party to and will make for a good single. I like it.

 

this tune is spot on! i love it. definately a wise choice for the 1st single. it kinda introduces mike and machine shop... perfect

Yah this track is bumpin' the track is more of a live track. The last thing that needs to come from a LP member is a single that has the word "pain" in it.

 

that's why there is this player, it's for people that wait for the album, this is their way of "not cheating on the album" lol



i really like this song, at first, I listened to 20 seconds, felt embarassed for the solo project and closed it, went to work, came home on lunch, listened to it again, the whole way through and now I really really like this song, DEFINITELY a club/dance track, i can't wait to see some girls shake their thangs to this lol.


for some reason, I keep thinking of Will Smith's "Party Starter" when I listen to this song though, lol
