    001: Tool's 10,000 Days.
[there's a very large gap here]
002: Angels & Airwaves' We Don't Need to Whisper.
    003: Jenny Lewis' Rabbit Furcoat.
004: The Raconteurs' Broken Boy Soldier.
    005: Opus Dai's Tierra Tragame.
    006: Kanye West's Late Orchestration.
    007: Every Move A Picture's Heart = Weapon.
008: Hawthorne Heights' If Only You Were Lonely.
009: underOATH's Define The Great Line.

this is a list of all that i've listened to fully.
i still have like.. 11 albums from 2006 to listen to all the way through though.
and i'm buying Stadium Arcadium later tonight, so things could definitely change.

    1.) Atreyu - A Death-Grip On Yesterday
    2.) Rebel Meets Rebel - S/T
3.) Taking Back Sunday - Louder Now
4.) 36 Crazyfists - Rest Inside The Flames
5.) Evans Blue - The Melody and The Energetic Nature of Volume

    7.) AFI - Decemberunderground
8.) Hawthorne Heights - If Only You Were Lonely
9.) Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium

Sad to say, no album has yet been that amazing experience I've had over my favorite albums over the past few years, which is sad when you look at RHCP, AFI, and Lacuna Coil.

Is everyone putting Tool at #1 because you've been convinced that they're more talented than anyone you've ever listened to and it shows or because it's actually a good record?

I put it at number one because it gives me a feeling when I listen to it that I haven't gotten from any other record made in 2006.

Likewise. Listening to the album from start to finish is quite an experience. It puts you in a mood.

The same thing happens when I listen to 'The Fragile' or NearLY's 'Reminder'.

    Yeah.
I wasn't all that into NearLY.
But definitely The Fragile and of course The Mars Volta for me.
There are just certain moments in the record that give me goosebumps. Like in 10,000 Days when he yells "Give me my wings" and then it just breaks down. There's a lot of build-ups and big climatic releases throughout the record, which is one reason I like it. It's sort of like a suspenseful film.

same here, I'm really banking on Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Crossfade and Linkin Park to pull me out of my music slump
