My favourites on the album are "Right Now", "Feel Like Home" and "Kenji". I think that "Feel Like Home" is my top-favourite out of the three
I voted Right Now. It's the only the one that I will go out of my way to listen to. It's funny cause one of my best friends who is pure death and black metal actually liked this song when I played, because it's "thoughtful rap."
Red To Black. The flow of the rap verses are sick. The lyrics are actually pretty good, too. And the chorus is catchy. Best chorus on the album.
Really close tie between Right Now, Kenji, and Slip Out The Back. But I chose Slip Out The Back just cause. But definitely would've chosen The Hard Way if it was on here.
Tie between The High Road and Red to Black. But I choose Red to Black because I love the bass guitar.
A week late, but the one that stands out the most to me is "Kenji". Mike really shines there. Other personal favorites are "Believe Me", "Slip Out The Back", "High Road" (I'm not plastic and fake, when I make tracks I take facts and lay em out for the masses ), and "Cigarettes". I love how meaningful this album is, every song has its own individual message. Mike really proved here that he can hold his own.
Easily Red to Black, if for nothing more than it gives me the major feels, just so damn relatable and relevant to a large portion of my life.
It's been a while since I listened to TRT Just did yesterday and I realized that Red to Black is pretty rad.
Kenji and Red to Black are doing pretty well ! My personal favorite of The Rising Tied is Believe Me.
