I think Daft Punk is good...but I borrowed a burnt CD from my cousin, and it had this Japanese techno group on it....The song rocked! But he didnt know who it was....so
You guys want a techno review, ill give you a techno review. I tend to listen to alot of techno myself, but I tend to lean towards techno remixes and techno video game remixes. The best techno I've ever heard can be found on kazaa. Its called Megaman Techno (trance) by Dj Scribble. I heard that song and thats what got me into techno. I guarantee you'll at least like it a bit. I dont really have a list because all my techno is just called "chinese" or "german techno".
