There's multiple versions of many songs, of course, but I think that Papercut is the one that they have done the most justice to every time. I have to go with Reanimation because the bassline, especially in the beginning, is creepy and because Rasco and Planet Asia's verses actually have something to do with the original song, unlike most of Reanimations songs. I like the Live in Texas, or any other live version, next best because of when Chester screams during the verses (face that I hold INSIDE, face that awaits when I close my EYES, face that I watch everytime I LIE). And of course the original is awesome, but I like Reanimation's version the best.

Hybrid Theory, It was friggin perfect..flawless...but the remix made it cooler, just couldn't touch the perfection that was Papercut. The Big Pimpin' was only half "perfect" and the Live In Texas didn't have that refined, tweaked to perfection sound.

Papercut on Hybrid Theory was one of my favourites from the very beginning (and still is), but I think the song just grew up a little more when they performed it on Live in Texas. Especially the C-part is absolutely fabulous.

if you guys can get hold of the live BBC performance of papercut (there was also points and in the end) then you will understand how good LP are live. these 3 songs are great.

however out of the list i would have to say the Hybrid Theory version. its LPs favourite track it most certainly one of mine!

there was a hell remix that i liked as well, too bad it wasnt one of my favs.

anyway, my fav version of papercut[besides that hell remix] would be from reanimation.

the hell remix is basically a fans edit of the original version off hybrid theory. they didnt change much if i remember correctly - just the intro at the begining..... dont quote me on that though!

not the best fan remix i have heard i must admitt

Papercut was my favorite song on Hybrid Theory when it first came out.

Big Pimpin/Papercut is my favorite on Collision Course,
Papercut is ONE of my favorites on Live in Texas (next to Figure .09, OSC and PLMH)
It was my favorite on Reanimation also :p

So out of them all, I'd say the Live in Texas Version.

Haven't heard the Rock Am Ring one, I'm still looking for the mp3.

Love the live versions of songs. Since I haven't heard the RAR version, I gotta say the L.I.T. version.

the classical Papercut which is on Hybrid Theory. the end is so much better than like they do it live. before march 2001 i would prefer the live version but the high singing at the end nowadays takes away a special feeling of the song.

concerning reanimation i have to say that the climax was totally destroyed and everything that was left was a boring "sun goes down" repitition.
