The titles certainly seem very hunting party-ish, implying battle(Warrior, Line In The Sand), struggle(All For Nothing, Until Its Gone), casualties(The Wastelands, Mark The Graves), royalty(Keys To The Kingdom, Final Masquerade), etc. Digging it for sure.
:30 - "This song has this undertone: where we're at, there's this sense of not belonging. Music and culture has kind of gone this poppy, shiny thing." Yes. Linkin Park wouldn't know anything about that.
The titles remind me of first hearing of the ATS titles. Deep, war, dark sounds/titles. I could be completely wrong but I feel that this is a punk rock version of ATS part 2. Just a prediction. Also: warrior will be there heaviest song on this album.
Well, Linkin Park do seem to be keen to hide things in the background of the videos that are actually important details about the album they're promoting, so naturally!
Maybe it's just me, but LT sort of feels irrelevant to LP. Don't get me wrong, I liked the album enough, but they seemed to ignore it. They didn't play over half the album on the tour, they dropped most of the songs they did play, leaving Burn it Down, Lost in the Echo, and maybe Castle of Glass for the second part of the tour. Mike referred to it as a quick firecracker album full of short bangers. I don't know why but the whole glitz and glam of LT just feels like it was a one-off. Whereas MTM and ATS we're them being like "let's branch out into this new territory for us." Now with this new album, it feels like they're back with that attitude.
