Can't wait to hear that remix.
Good tracklisting! And it's better than the WID one. But again the same con: No damn b-sides!. When will LP release a b-side on singles?
After the anger, I think this tracklisting is hinting that Given Up is the posible 3rd single, which is great for me (at least)!
Wow a + for living in Europe for a LP fan
I really hope it's not.
the remix should be interesting and yea i'm also dissapointed that there aren't any b-sides
Its really annoying that there are no b-sides, especially since LP said that they had about 100 song ideas for MTM.
yea man, they have a bunch of songs why not put at least one as a b-side
Ooh! the remix sounds awesome..can't wait till it comes out!
Can't wait for the video as well
Looks cool, cant wait to hear the WID remix!
b side b side
A remix could be cool if it's more than just a beat swap of the vocal tracks already existant on the song... and the given up demo sounds pretty sweet, it could have an entirely different feel
They might have wanted to release a B-Side, but you never know how restricted they are with their stuff when they have fucking Warner as their record company.
They're [Warner] probably thinking how to release a b-side, making the fans pay for it.
OK, someone set this straight for me, didn't Mike say that Given Up was to come after WID but since BIO had more requests, they're doing that first? With GU being the next single, hate it as I do.
As far as I know, Mike said nothing about GU being the next single, and it has not been confirmed as the next single.
Yeah, I've been itching to see them say they're gonna release 'Grecian', and/or that 'Japan' Demo that showed some of in the MTM DVD.
Mike said back in like April when 30 seconds of Given Up were first debuted on Italian radio that "this is the next song you'll hear off of Minutes to Midnight" and a lot of people interpreted that to mean that it was the 2nd single, but obviously that wasn't true and he never came out and said that in the first place.
I really hope Given up doesn't become a single... It's just too... unprofessional (to be a single)? maybe that word's a bit harsh, couldn't think of another.
I'm also excited about the What I've Done Remix. I hope it's a "different" type of remix, not like their Reanimation stuff. Even though i love Reanimation it'd be cool to see a remix that's not hip-hop or electronica related. Exciting!
as for the b sides:
there are now 2 possibilities how we're gonna hear them
1) Warner wants LP to release those songs as..kinda special Movie Soundtracks (you know, there are always some exklusives on Soundracks)
2) We'll have to wait for the next LPU CD(but actually I don't think that they won't release a b-side until the next LPU CD)
not sure if it's true but on Billboard's website GU will be the nest single: link
after that Shadow Of The Day
