Yes, my favorite game of all time, Bloodrayne, has been blessed with a sequel!

For those of you who don't know the story line

In 1932 an American teenage girl was apprehended in Europe after carving a path of destruction trying to track down and kill her biological father. The girl's name was Rayne and she claimed the people she killed, and her father who was still at large, were vampires. Before more information was attained, the girl disappeared.

That girl is a Dhampir; a product of her human mother's rape by her vampire father. Born with the powers of a vampire without all of the weaknesses. She was taken in by an underground organization calling themselves the Brimstone Society-- a top-secret fraternity that hunts down and destroys supernatural threats. Agent BloodRayne, as she is now known, protects humanity from things that ordinary people shouldn't have to deal with.

In the years between the World Wars, Agent BloodRayne works as a killing machine for The Brimstone Society. Two missions, five years apart, turn out to be connected by one man. For years, this man has been searching the world for powerful occult artifacts to bring Germany into a new age of domination. Agent BloodRayne must face this man's elite Nazi army to prevent them from releasing creatures of unfathomable terror onto the world in their unwavering quest for the artifacts.

When we last saw BloodRayne in 1935, she joined forces with the shadowy Brimstone Society to destroy a supernatural Nazi bid for dominance. Her father, Kagan, an influential Nazi collaborator, was killed in an accident at the close of the War. Cheated of killing Kagan herself, Rayne has spent the last sixty years ferreting out and destroying his many offspring, her siblings. They have banded together and formed the Cult of Kagan, pledging to carry on his legacy of creating a new era of vampire supremacy where humans are mere cattle for the bloodthirsty predators that hunt them. BloodRayne’s nefarious siblings have created “The Shroud,” a mysterious substance which, when released, renders the sun’s lethal rays harmless to vampires and twists nature into a nightmarish perversion. Now only BloodRayne stands between an unsuspecting humanity and a horrifying vampire dawn.

Awesome. I can't wait .

Although I hope this Bloodrayne game is longer. I found the first one to be kind of short, I don't know if it's just me, but eh, it was still cool.

I heard rumors about this for months, but I guess it's finally official .

Yea, and there is also reports of the Bloodrayne movie being made this year, and it is supposed to have an estimated budget of $30 million!

I have the first part for Xbox but I never played it.

The trailer for Bloodrayne 2 is wicked, but you need to register to download it.

They use the Xbox footage for the game commercials, its pretty cool.

Yea, Bloodrayne 1 was kinda short, but I get to test the game out, because my uncle is a game tester for PS2... so once I try it out, I'll report back to give my view on the game... and then I'll get it free :whistle:
