Whoa! An idea strikes! Thank you!

LP have made a rockier version of "Breaking the Habit" with Mike singing in it too, much like what Evanescence did to "My Immortal" by adding the guitars.

    Eh? Eh? [/b][/quote]
Oh god, I hope so! That would be amazing...

I love BTH, but after hearing it I remember wondering what it would be like if it was a little heavier...

I always wondered what a hard version of Nobody's Listenning would sound like.

there's a part in someone's remix (which has xzibit's verse from the projekt revolution tour) where they turned up the guitars and turned everything else down (through channel conversion i think) and it sounded awful.

That would be really cool if they were hiding something we've never heard before.

Are you sure it's just not bad production by the remixer?

Let's not keep our hopes up, in case it's just BTH or Don't Stay or something. Although, I hope and do believe it's going to be something amazing.

In my opinion, I feel it's going to be one of three things:

1.) A new mix of "Breaking The Habit" with heavier guitars, Mike rapping and the ochestra will be more prominent in the song. Also, there may be new lyrics sung by Chester (possibly longer verses).

2.) "Don't Stay." This would be obvious if "BTH" isn't the single. "Lying From You" is possible, but "DS" would be the more obvious single. Also, "Easier To Run" is too much like "Crawling," and "Hit The Floor" just isn't single-worthy. "Figure.09" could be possible, but, again, "DS" would be the more obvious single.

3.) It's a brand-new song. Think about it. There are a couple new movies coming out in the next 2 months... Linkin Park may have a new song on one of those soundtracks, so the song could be "Nocturnal" or "Shifter," OR an entirely new song.

But don't take that as prophecy. It's just my opinion.

    No, that's the original song.

The demo is on their album.

Don't Stay seems like a single which could succeed with the masses, but it's too bad it has the worst lyrics on Meteora. They're somewhat cliché. Just read them.. And don't put me on trial for having an opinion.

It's not so bad and, musically, I think it's the best  . But yeah, the lyrics are somewhat cliche.

I think it will end up being a remixed BTH, but that remixed BTH will be on an upcoming soundtrack. IMO, I dont think they'd waste time remixing a song if it's only going to be a single

they could just re-release meteora (warner would do this), or actually release a CD single with the remix (if it exists ;)) on it. I think the RIAA has banned all non-american idol people from releasing CD singles in the US.

pet peeve: talking about stuff people in general could care less about, while talking to other people.

    ...

its just that when i go to the CD single section at my local sam goody, all i see is the american idol logo, the [IMPORT] sticker, and a bunch of people who used to be "cool" or "in" (according to MTV anyway, we all know the spice girls still rock ). So i always associated it with the RIAA's battle to get the consumer to buy the whole album instead of buying/downloading the one or two singles they heard on the radio, thus assuming they banned them (somehow).
