    The thing I don't get about the hype...

    If you're doing these puzzles in order to unlock TINY PIECES of a song, you're already a Linkin Park fan and will obviously be getting the song regardless. People who are on the fence aren't going to be going out of their way to do these puzzles. This has nothing to do with getting people on the LP bandwagon, it's just their way of keeping us entertained while we wait...because they're fucking awesome.

    My .02 (read through all the pages) There's a reason why the bottom row hasn't been displayed yet. This is most likely the album cover with the title (and hopefully release date) on the bottom. Hope it'll unlock snippets (obviously) and tracklisting. Mike mentioned that the art was a new/ awesome way never been seen. Could this be the access to the album booklet possibly? Can't image some puzzles and an easter egg hunt for java code is "revolutionary" in his mind.

    This will be the Burn It Down cover art. This is to hype the new single, not the album. That comes after April 16.

    one thing that Wouldn't make down is why would only Chester be on Album cover, i still think this is just the single cover and it will say Burn It Down at the bottom

    I wasn't complaining about there being puzzles! I can be patient when I have to be and I appreciate the effort that Linkin Park puts in to making things interesting in the build up to a song/album. My only complaint was about the website glitch or bug or whatever it is that prevents me from solving the 4th puzzle because I missed it!

    This does match what Mike said, but if they only put Chester on the album cover I'll be pissed.
    Hate when that happens.

    I wonder how soon after. I don't expect them to pause or break for BID but go straight into album hyping

    The album's cover will be a puzzle itself, you have to solve it to open the case. Each time you put the cd back into the case, the cover will be scrambled and you have to solve it the next time you want to get the disc :trollface:

    That's what Mike was talking about!!!!

    Well you've got the song debut on April 16th, should be available to download digitally April 17th. My guess is they'll announce tour dates on the same day, oh and look, it just so happens Linkin Park are on Loveline that same night to promote said single and tour dates. After this we have the wait for the music video. After the music video it's all hype and press for the upcoming new album.

    I don't know about tour dates. TC was released same day though so I'm hoping for that. And I don't expect the music video for at least another two weeks after the single release

    Yes! Reached the 67th page!

    What a damn good idea. Even though I haven't really completed any of the puzzles myself (those grey lines did my head in) its a super idea. Just like those puzzle things I used to have as a kid. They where awesome. Also the art is shaping up rather nicely, I love how its Tool-esque like I guessed in the "album art" thread. :trollface:
