Note to these parents: Next time, use digital! These people have to qualify for 'Idiot of the Year'... Couple Hires Stripper for Son's Birthday
Well, that's a pretty stupid thing to do. Although thinking logically/legally here, it's somewhat funny to me. I don't know how much everyone here knows about drinking laws in the US, but there are actually different ages below 21 where you can legally have a way to drink alcohol. When you turn 16, you can actually drink alcohol as long as your parents/legal guardians purchase it, open it, and hand it to you themselves. So logically, wouldn't it make sense to have the same law apply to hiring a stripper? It's bad parenting either way but eh, I just like questioning the logic behind laws whenever I think of a way to.
That's sorta cool, though. I mean, you'd never think that your parents would do that for you. That kid had cool parents. But it's wrong. I mean, come on. The kids 16 years old, and you're getting a stripper for his birthday. And you know it's worse when your grandfather is there...who knows if he's taking Viagra? *scary thought*
Word. And I mean, it's better than having the kid <s>downloading porn</s> sit at the computer all day. It tides him over until his next 'encounter' I guess and... I don't know. I'm just trying to make up excuses to justify how cool these parents are.
ummmm, that's a little strange. The last thing on my parents mind for a b-day present would be a male stripper. It would be one of the best presents I've gotten though.
The man who developed the photographs and looked at them should be punished more than the parents. It's illegal - where I'm from, at least - to look at photos when they're being developed. It's an infringement on privacy. The kids were in a controlled environment with the parental units. It's not like they did it without the parents knowing - the parents did it themselves.
You know, Will's viewpoint is right. It's possible for the photos to be seen after they are developed, but looking at them while they're being developed is against the law.

[/b][/quote] Its illegal, but say the developer came across photos of child pornography? Would you say the same thing. Although I disagree with punishing the parents. The kid's 16, I doubt he saw anything on the stripper he hasn't seen on the internet
I would report it to the authorities, without a doubt. But I'd also know that I was going to be punished for invading someone's privacy. I'm just saying that the developer should be punished as well.
Why are these parents being punished for being down to earth? Perhaps they could have just bought a gun for their son, since that *is* legal. [/sarcasm]
Oh my god! That kid was only 16! He'll be scarred for life... Those horrible parents, what were they THINKING!? Oh... those images will haunt him in his dreams! I definitely suggest a minimum of 2 years in prison. For the love of god... with the aqquaintance of an adult he can watch American Pie... But he can't see the live performance?? Next year he can watch NC-17.
I wish my parents would hire a stripper for my bday... ...except, when the stripper showed up, I'd force everyone to leave the house...
