Straight from the horse's mouth, David Cambell, composer for 'Breaking the Habit,' has returned to the studio to aid Linkin Park in finishing up their third original disc, still tentatively due for a Spring release. While several sources have speculated that the album is already complete, or nearing it's final stages, Campbell's website suggests that this is not so. Listed under 'Upcoming Releases' new discs from acts such as Maroon 5 have yet to make their way onto airwaves, or even gain much publicity, prompting us to wonder just how far back the band is. His work with Linkin Park is currently listed as a 'current project.' Whether Campbell will lend a hand as he did with 'Breaking the Habit,' or offer more involvement in the disc as a whole is yet to be known. Thanks to UndergroundSoldier!
loved breaking the habit, i loved what he did. hope he can bring something new and fresh to LPs 3rd effort
bth is my 2nd fav song campbell is great artist i saw with how many artists he worked he looks funny playing with kiss )
well, this is quite interesting. i love what he did on BTH of course. should be interesting to see what'll be done on this album. this news post pretty well contradicts that last news post =P "almost here" haha. apparently not if this is true. i have a feeling it's fairly close to being done and we'll see it around late march/early april. just my educated guess. if they're not completely done with it, then it'll take about that long to get all the finalizing done for it and stuff. LP.com has no posters on the board [as of posting this]. that's pretty cool. just a big LP logo. hopefully they'll know the release date and title soon. i wonder if they've even finalized what the title is going to be. they better have or better do it soon because you've gotta do album art for the cover and the inside stuff and that can take a bit of time. LP doesn't just throw that together as it's made obvious in all their albums.
yes, I really like BTH. It's interesting how they put all that sounds in one song, and that was really great. I believe that they know what they doing, they are not so stupid to record some shits on new album..... I can't wait to here new songs, I know all words of old songs, I wanna learn new words....
Can anyone tell me, what exactly did David Cambell do for BTH? I can't figure it out from all those posts in this thread....
He write the notes for musicians who play violine, and that stuff. He was directing with orcestar witch has played bth...something like that.
