My favourite song from the album.
I've only heard a preview of COG, and damn it sounds amazing!
It in my top 5 lp songs
After listening to the album 4 times through, this one's emerged as my favorite from LT. This song's amazing.
To me, this is the best song off Living Things, which is a great album. I love how Mike and Chester sing along, I also like Skin To Bone, which is like electro Castle of Glass.
Exactly. Castle of Glass and Skin To Bone are my top two tracks off the album. Just by a little bit, though, as the entire album is so amazing. My expectations were definitely exceeded.
I like the song but I don't understand why it's lauded as the best off LT. The 'drop' where the instruments kick in has a pretty average melody and not very interesting instrumentalization either. The lyrics and back & forth between Chester and Mike is nice though.
Actually, LITE seems to be the favorite. If you look at the poll for best song, LITE has most of the votes. Lots of people do think CoG is the best but LITE seems to be more appreciated. I personally think CoG is the best, and LITE 2nd best, and think its just a very interesting and unique song with cool instrumentals and some of their bets lyrics to date.
Totally new thing... Listening to it is a whole new experience. Close your eyes and live that fantasy world where you're King Arthur of your time and you trying to fix what mistakes along side your loyal services to take down the dark force
dude bro u high?
I really like it, definitely one of the better songs on the album, not that any are bad!
Nahhh... it's just folk music side effect on me
Love the song, but I feel like it would be so much better if it was an accustic guitar until the last chorus.
Definitely not, I tried playing it on an acoustic guitar and I didn't sound good. At all. But I'm sure LP's version would be better.
I guess I'm in the minority here but Castle of Glass for me is a song i just can't get into. I'ts quite possibly the worse track on Living Things. In time maybe it'll grow on me though.
Knowing your place in the world and being comfortable with it.
