Certain CD's will not play on my computer... Like Funeral For a Friend's "Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation", Foo Fighters' "One By One" and Red Hot Chili peppers' "Greatest hits" because they all have 'copyright protection' on them or so it says on the stickers on the cover of all 3 of these albums. So when I put them in my cd drive the computer will not recognise the cd, 'my computer' becomes unaccessable and windows media player stops working. Usually I wouldn't mind because I could play these CDs on my stereo, but that broke. Any help please anyone?
I don't know what to say about the cd drive. I guess the cds are doing what they're meant to do. I have much more success playing cds in Winamp than I do with WMP. Make sure WMP isn't your default cd playing software. You could try that. Or if you have a DVD drive, put the cd in there and try and play it through a program that isn't WMP.
So what do you do when you own a cd, and want the music legally... you go and illegally download it...although you have brought the license thing right...so surely you could download it through limewire or torrents etc. (that isn't like gonna get me in trouble right....) And Adam, I don't even have that problem, I've loaded and copied RHCP Greatest Hits onto my computer.
I can upload it on my Dad's computer too, but he uses different sortware to me. So I'm not too sure what's going on lol.
The only CD I've had trouble uploading to iTunes was Black Sabbath's Paranoid. And I guess that's just because it was too old or something. Hell, I don't know. I just downloaded it.
