I should say "& any other techno/ electronic/ industrial I know of." I'm kinda wondering what everyone will think of these dudes. May be you already know em' but I wanted to share. ^^ Celldweller Eon (The New) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QELD5jo1xYA I Believe You (Alternative-ish [?]) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNcmdoo_txk Switchback (Biggest hit/ Typical [?]) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQg4C5l9aPk One Good Reason (HEAVY!) Awesome!, thought I was gonna be alone there for a second in that category. I'm waiting for Chapter 3 of WUABS to come out!, and all this LP excitement, just a good time to have a boring summer goin' I guess.
I'm downloading Blue Stahli as we speak, and if it's anything like the link in your first post, I think I'll like it too!
Well actually, he's kinda new and only has a few songs that have lyrics to 'em, he has a lot of instrumentals and there is a song that I don't personally enjoy but there are these by him that are full songs with lyrics: ULTRAnumb (link), Corner, Anti You / Burning Bridges (Demo), Throw Away, and Scrape
BT...hmm...hang on... He's a techno/industrial artist who like Blue Stahli and Celldweller, does a lot of instrumental stuff, some songs with lyrics and a bunch with other singers.
Oh, I see, yeaahh. That's cool Ima have to check him out. & what do you suggest, chemist??, I just used it cause it's good (I think) and majorly cause it had a MV. -insert laughy smiley- I need to figure that out. Lol.
"Birthright" ... um, anything from "Soundtrack", the new "Blackstar" material, the standalone digital singles and remixes that Klay's done for other artists -- anything but "Switchback". That song made a good impression on me back when I was, like, fifteen, I admit - but I wouldn't like it if I were introduced to it now. Sh*t sounds too ... um, generic. There are lots of great remixes of it, though. I find that the debut album isn't at all an accurate representation of Celldweller as it sounds now.
I started listening to Celldweller after that collaboration they did with Styles of Beyond I really the music. I like Blue Stahli as well thanks for introducing them ^^
If you're gonna mention remixes, you could also mention Klay's kickass rework of Pendulum's "Propane Nightmares" (which got me into Pendulum a few years ago) and Toskin's recent remix of "So Long Sentiment".
I've been a Celldweller fan for years, ever since Switchback came out really. I must've listened to that CD a hundred times since back in the day. I'm really digging the new stuff (WUAB) - sounds more refined and genuine than his earlier stuff.
Add So Long Sentiment, Louder Than Words, The Last Firstborn, Klash Up (Cinco De Mayo Mix) and The Lucky One (when it's released on Tuesday).
