Chester Confirms Solo Album

    Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington recently confirmed the existance of a solo album in a recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine in their August 2005 issue. The article reads:

    LINKIN PARK screamer CHESTER BENNINGTON will release a solo record, and he breaks the news in the Smoking Section. "We took Nineties rock, mixed it with Eighties pop like DEPECHE MODE, THE CURE, and BAUHAUS and smashed them together," says Bennington. "It's fuckin' driving beats and walls of guitars." Songs like "Morning After" and "Walking in Circles" are in the can, and Bennington is especially psyched about a new song, which a friend says "sounds like T.REX."

    I wonder what the studio version of The Morning After would sound like if it's to fit with Chester's description.

    YES, FINALY :D a studio recording of The Morning After :D one of my favorite songs :D I cant wait to hear it.

    Okay, I think this will be veeery interesting... LoL I'm definitely not a fan of Depeche Mode or The Cure but now I think it will sound a lot like Orgy because Orgy's influences come from 80ies pop/electro/synthie bands and from 90ies rock bands and I love Orgy so I'll wait and see what comes out of this ;) I just know that I love Chester's voice and that this will be a very different thing for him and that this might be a further development for him... I'm very optimistic that this solo album will kick ass!! He'll do a great job... I just believe in this :lol:

    Really looking forward to this, I'll definitely buy this when it comes out. Hope both Chester's album and Fort Minor's does well.
