Although many of you know that Chester Bennington's hiatal hernia was one of the factors which hospitalized him for over a week in a Los Angeles hospital, you may not completely understand the events which unfolded before he was sent to the hospital, the happenings which played out while he was hospitalized, and the occurences after he was released. For example, at video shoot for "Numb", Chester was in agony because his hernia would become a pain while he was singing, seeing that he doesn't lip-sync while shooting videos. Also, while rehearsing for Summer Sanitarium, Chester would have to sit down after performing a half dozen songs from the sickness developing in his midsection. Hiatal hernias occur when the stomach slides above the diaphragm, allowing stomach acid to flow freely into the esophagus, this is what caused Linkin Park to cancel a Projekt Revolution show because of Chester's throat infection. That really sucks about all that.....i hope he gets better now, i know how it is to get a hernia and it sucks badly. But i didnt know he didnt lip synch during videos...thats pretty cool!
oh...that must've been really painful... :wth: hope itz all better now...i can't stand the fact that he had to suffer like that.
That really sucks. I mean, imagine the pain that hes going through. :wth: But i really do appreciate the fact that he never lip-syncs. It really does show that they care about what they do in their music, and how it happens.
Man that really sucks.. Its amazing how he performs like that on stage all the time. He has heart man.
wow my mom had the same illness a couple of years ago..she had to have surgery to get it fixed..it really takes a long time to recover and be his old self again..i hope he will get better soon.
Man, he's barfing on stage now. By the time he comes to my town, which is the last show, he'll be so tired out. To be honest, I would seriously like him to cancel the rest of the tour, including the one I'm attending. I want him to get better now. Chester's health is more important to me than seeing them live...Chester, to me, is more than just the lead singer of Linkin Park - he's a human being...a damn funny and nice one. I love that guy.
Exactly....Lots of stuff in my life happened to Chester at some point or another, and him being sick really concerns me, cause i guess you could say, hes the big brother i never had
poor guy, that must really suck. I hope he gets better - it really shows how much he cares and loves his music that he's keeping everything going right now. Happy thoughts to Chester
