There was more to that, but it was just talking about how well their first album did. But personally, I can't wait for this album. Loved the first record and it's cool in a way that they kicked the rapping dude out because this album can be more rock. It's going to be nothing revolutionary, but hopefully it will be solid enough.
Loved the first record to bits. I hope this album breaks the recent slump of these new-age rock bands.
Well he apparently left to take care of his family and such, but I bet behind it all, they kicked him out because they wanted Crossfade to be more of a rock group.
http://www.fmqbproductions.com/epks/2006/crossfade/ they have a 30 second snippet of their new single "Invincible". I personally like it, but with only 30 seconds, there is so much more potential with the song. they definitely seem to have a slightly different sound. overall, I am still excited for this album.
Okay I'm sorry but I recoiled in horror the minute i heard that clip. Not one of my fav crossfade songs for sure.
www.myspace.com/crossfade Full version of Invincible is up. EDIT: Meh. I'm really not into this song at all. And it sounds like I won't. And Cold kicked so much ass as well. But this song is just...crap. I stopped it halfway that's how bad it was.
I'm not feeling this song. When I first hear a song I don't like, I give it another chance. I gave this song another chance and it didn't change my mind. I think it sucks and i'm very disappointed.
what the hell are you all smoking? or what am I on? this song is great! Crossfade definitely sound like they have grown a bit since getting rid of that other guy. It's still got the Crossfade feel, but it's even better. not their best song, but it's a great song nonetheless i think a lot of people cannot get past debut albums... all music band's make grow and change... you can't have a record full of 12 "Cold" tracks, unless u want a Godsmack record, then okay. /rant /opinion
It sounds like Rock meets Country meets Pop. Not Good. Definitely not as good as the old Crossfade. EDIT: It sounds like all they were going for with this song was Airplay.
One thing that always bugged me about Crossfade was the fact that the singer doesn't go one line without having some kind of double layer to his voice. Just sing normally and stop sounding like a freaking robot!
