Does anybody know any bands or songs that have a similar sound to Rammstein but that are slightly less German? :p Similar to 'Nightwish - Wish I Had An Angel' sound. I've been looking for an english singing band that falls under this genre for a long time now.

Wiki explains it better than I do:

They have a list but all of those bands are German. Any help would be appreciated :)

The Shape Of Punk To Come by Refused, and Ire Works by The Dillinger Escape Plan. Neither of those albums are similar to Rammstein but both could be called metal with elements of electronica to some extent.

    Actually, try Pitchshifter.

KMFDM and their side project MDFMK are really similar to Rammstein.

They're more or less just post-hardcore.

I agree with MSI and Enter Shikari.

May I also suggest Sky Eats Airplane, they're basically similar to ES, but with more screaming, and more electronica.

My Shikari comment was meant to be humorous, btw.

But wouldn't like NIN fit the bill pretty well?

    Their new song kinda does.
Though I dunno that they're really metal... But who the hell can define NIN?

i think "industrial" came close at some stage -- not anymore, though.

Sorry I haven't replied. My internet was dead :p I'm checking out pretty much everything that you guys have suggested. Thanks for the suggestions. Except for NIN, MSI and Celldweller; I've already listened to all of them :)

    Dance metal? wtf.
Most of the bands mentioned in this topic, like Rammstein, KMFDM, MSI, etc etc, are industrial.

Off the top of my head, you'll probably be interested in these as well:
Assemblage 23, Atari Teenage Riot, Caustic, Funker Vogt, Imperative Reaction, Kompressor, Skinny Puppy, Suicide Commando, VNV Nation
