I love this. I listened to what the others did with this song and must say, this is the best version by far, imo. ^_^

    ticky tacky (tikē takē)
    noun
unimaginative and, often, tasteless or shoddy uniformity
Etymology: orig., cheap building materials, as for tract houses < redupl. of tacky: popularized in “Little Boxes” (1962), song by M. Reynolds (1900-78), U.S. songwriter

I think it would have been better if Mike sang it actually, now that I've listened to it 10000 times.

i have heard about this show and saw a little bit of it. but this sounds like a christmas song in the way chester sings, not in what he is singing about.

He would've had to sing it down an octave though, there's no way Mike can go that high.

I actually like it! Yet it was very hard to contain my laughter at 6am on the bus to school this morning, which was the 1st time I listened to it. (I really should have listened to it yesterday after downloading it) At first, I had to process what was going on in my head:

Chester + ticky tacky = LP cover? ._.

I was also another person expecting some kind of metal cover. Well, it was more of the beat that confused me, but after I heard him sing "ticky tacky", it just threw me off completely. Yet, in a good way because I loved listening to it. I can't wait for the full version too.

    that just made my day.

    no, week.

    like, man.

It makes me want a happy, poppy Linkin Park album really badly. Followed up of course by a freakin metal album.

But I could just listen to Chester sing about "tickytacky" all day. And that my friends, kinda scares me.

Gosh I hope they do a live version of this. And they have to do it right after Given Up, so it's like "PUT ME OUT OF MY F***ING MISERRRRRRRRRRY!" followed by "and they're all made of tickytacky"

    It would be amazing.

Now that would just be maniacal . This is about the weirdest song Linkin Park have ever performed... of what I know so far. But it feels even weirder when you think of it as being the start-off to Weeds. It's insane, but it's not; because it's so plain and soft and innocent. I love it.
