    how long ago did lp told us the release date for Meteora ? does anyone remember ?

    I believe that's basically common sense lol. You can't just knock on LP's door and say "let me interview you bitch" you have to contact management which basically, only decides to respond to you once and a blue moon.

    It could be easy, if LP needs some media attention they will say 'ok Derek, you will get ur interview' and that's also cus they 'know' you from LPassociation.
    They were here so they could have seen you and when u called, they thought hmmm we need media attention or whatever, and they could accept it faster then when i should call and say: hi I am laurens, and i want to speak Dave please?'

    Lol good point. Well in a little tidbit of info, my friend on the inside who helped me score this interview was selling our website to the band over a lunch break, and saying how we always listen to management with leaking new songs and etc and Brad cuts her off and goes "no need to 'sell' us on it, we love the idea and want to do it!".

    And since it was Phoenix's turn to do interviews I got him =).

    Me? Double post? Neverrrrrrrr ;).

    Just an update guys, I'm going to be cleaning up the audio and posting it sometime next week. I've waited long enough for management to reply about the audio, and I've gotten no response, so they must be too busy.

    Way I look at it is, Phoenix did a promo so he knows he was being recorded. Nothing illegal there. Stay tuned folks!

    Actually, I talked with our management, and they told me I could do another interview with a fan site before our new album comes out in March.

    Ana, usually we do not allow threads like this to be bumped up so long after they've disappeared from the public eye. This thread actually hasn't been active for over three years.

    However; this is somewhat our fault for linking to the interview on the front page without locking the thread. If you wish to post the audio (I don't think the links still work) on your site you may, but you must link to LPA and give us expressed written credit for the interview/audio portions.
