Thanks Mark! I freaked out when I found out about this through a Tweet Chester RT'd from Steve. It's energetic, it feels epic, and the new variations on Mike and Chester's parts sound amazing to me. It's making me way too impatient for Thursday. Who'd imagine that a preview of a new LP song would have Danny McBride, Mike Tyson, and Michael Bluth in one 90-second video?
Sounds damn good. And I consider it as an indication of something big.. At least bigger than a LP:R song. I'm a dreamer.
I still have to get used to the chorus. Not the melody, but the way they edited his voice in the background. But apart from that I love it and can't wait to hear the full thing! *Tython
God! More collaborations with companys! Better start using the trademark rights reserved initials after you type in Linkin Park. Sellouts.
Did the lyrics in the chorus change or am I hearing it wrong? It doesn't sound like "I chased the sun" anymore.
Mike's verse sounds like it has more energy in it than it did before. The lyrics, however seem to have stayed the same. The chorus goes "The nights go on, waiting for a light that never comes, I chase the sun, waiting for a light thay never comes." It's just how this preview is edited out...
Mike's rapping sounds like a bed time story. Put some passion into the damn thing. Chester sounding damn weird. But good.
it's a little frustrating, I want to say I like the track, I really do; but, in good faith I can not. its just really quite dull to me. will I try there game? probably, will it be for the song? no.
I really like what I've heard of the beat, but, yeah, I can't honestly that I'm digging the vocals and lyrics so far
