Except Faith No More are legendary and would still kick ass and innovate in today's world. Everyone should be excited.
I think I nearly shit my pants from too much laughter at that statement. Edit: I'm with DisturbedOne98. I think they're better than Metallica and Guns 'N Roses combined.
What's everyone's problem with Faith No More? They were great! and much better than at least half of today's music. And why are we comparing Faith No More to Guns n' Roses and Metallica? They're completely different styles of music (aside from the rock base), so any comparing is completely subjective.
Sarah mentioned it which spawned posts arguing against it. I don't think Faith No More was all that great. They were decent in their day.
I had a feeling that someone was going to compare the bands, so I made my point when I had the chance to. The last feeling I had came true in the Machine Gun Fellatio thread I have a friend who looks like Mike Patton
I respect him. I think he's great and I actually listen to Peeping Tom every once in awhile, but I still don't think Faith No More was that great.
This. Maybe not the second sentence, I'm not really bothered about other people's reactions, but definitely the first.
Another update: IMO... Metallica > Guns N Roses > The Beatles > Linkin Park > U2 > Faith No More The list keeps getting longer and longer, lol
