You are given $1,000,000 budget for a concert lineup. Using this pricing list, create your fantasy concert!

    Rules:
    - You cannot go over budget
    - Bands that are listed within a price range (e.g. QOTSA are priced $75k-$125k) can booked with any figure in that range
    - Any band marked with a plus after the advertised figure (e.g. Green Day are advertised at $500k+) can be booked with any figure greater than the number.

BANDS NOT ON THE LIST: If people wish to add bands that aren't on the list, request them and I'll price them. :)

Bands not on the list (and their prices):
    Nine Inch Nails - $300-400k
    Tool - $100k+
Red Hot Chili Peppers - $500k

This. None of the bands I would choose, save for 1 or 2, were on this list. Stupid mainstream music! :cocainefan:

If people submit requests then I'll add them to a price list that isn't on there. I've updated with Tool and NIN. :)

The key is realizing how many artists that would normally very EASILY take a headlining slot at any other festival can be bought for under $100k (And by the way, $100,000 is 1/10th of your budget. Best to keep that in mind). In my opinion, my festival has the following could-be-headliners:

    Cage the Elephant - $50k
Queens of the Stone Age - $75k
    Mighty Mighty Bosstones - $40k
    twenty-one pilots - $25k
    Arctic Monkeys - $75k
    Jurassic 5 - $40k
    Childish Gambino - $75k
    Schoolboy Q - $25k
    Bone Thugs-n-Harmony - $25k
    Matt & Kim - $35k
    Chvrches - $30k
    Big Gigantic - $35k
    Janelle Monae - $40k

How much of a budget does that already-dream line-up take? Only $570k. For the price of one of your SUPER BIG NAME BANDS you can get 13 headliners. For a little over 1/2 of your entire budget, you already have a line-up of which dreams are made. From there you have so much wiggle-room with other great-but-not-headlining artists that you can go absolutely nuts.

BTW I'm pulling the figures for the bands not listed completely out of my ass

Mods can update the requests as well.
