So, the question is: What's your favorite rap sang by Mike? (LP tracks, as we are in the LP chat forum...) I'm choosing When They Come for Me. (I saw the Favorite LP track sang by Chester thread and I had the urge to do this )
"Rock And Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This) Part 2" (feat. DJ Q-bert, Grand Wizard Theodore, Jazzy Jay, Lord Finesse, Mike Shinoda, Rahzel & Chester Bennington) / Knockers (feat. Tim Meadows)
This is easy. 2nd verse of "Part of Me" hands down. The version on the Underground CD. In my opinion, that is truly one if not the best performance Mike has ever done. It just grabs at me the passion and energy in his voice. The pressure builds and gets bigger as he spits out each line and it never fails to get me. That verse is like the only reason i would love to hear them perform that song live, even just once. Edit: How could i forget "Hands Held High"? That song was amazing and Mike nailed it. Definitely one of my favorites.
Reading My Eyes, Part of Me, Papercut, and Remember the Name. If I had to choose 1, I'd say RME, he kills it. Wish he'd rap today like he did pre-HT.
