I vote paper cut because the video is wicked!!! and the track is one of the best on the album. Did you know that the band wanted Papercut out before OSC but the Warner Bros got them to put OSC out first. Great move by WB IMO.
hehe, that's cool alex! if LP had released the papercut vid in North America though, they probably would of sold another 1-2 million copies of HT. LP have sold over 12 million copies worldwide of HT too, 8 in US/Canada and 4 in the rest of the world. Apparently they're very popular in Australia. now, kuro : do you mean single song-wise? or video-wise? My Favorite Single (Song) - Crawling My Favorite Single (Video) - POA although the papercut video was tight.
Uhmm.. it's between "Crawling" and "Papercut" (both videos rock), but I think I'll go with "Crawling."
it was either In The End or Crawling for me, but I like the Crawling video better. Its a real good video
good question...well i'm talkin about Points of Authority [/b][/quote] i didnt really like that video as much. i guess its cause i dont like the live shots-type video. <_<
in my opinion none of the songs actually went wif the vids except 4 crawling. i mean papercut & POA (remix) - had absolutley no link wot so eva wif the lyrics. although in the end vid woz ok i suppose
Now that I think about it, you're wrong about that. Crawling: The video went with the lyrics completely. It was like how the girl was beat by her boyfriend or something like that (I don't see why anyone would want to beat her tho...). In The End: I really have no idea if the lyrics went with the video or not but it was still cool as hell. One Step Closer: It was Joe's idea... 'nuff said. Papercut: The video goes with the lyrics almost 100%. I think the blue guy is the "voice inside of your head" or close to it. The video's really sweet... Pts.Of.Athrty: Yes, the lyrics DO go with the video. Why? Because it's about how LP is comin' to kick some ass! I think... - Kuro Edit: Uh, yah... I meant POA remix. Crawling-The song is about being abused and it showed the girl being abused and CRAWLING away. In The End-In The End is sort of about as time moves.(Time is a valuable thing, watch it fly by as the pendulam swings) And in the beginning, Mike is surronded by a dessert type landscape, and as the video slowly progress's plants grow(signifing your life moving on) Papercut-The whoe video just seems to deal with Paranoia Points Of Authrority-That was just live shots, it wasnt supposed to mean anything towards the song. Pts.Of.Athrty-In the song it sounds as though a girl is trying to over take Chester, and tell him what to do. And inside him its like a battle with her. And the robot's battling is signifying what he might have felt inside. ^those are all my interpretations on what the videos mean, tell me if i did good Last edited by Chester 76 at Aug 19 2002, 09:34 AM
