FIFA should be more flexible with changing the results. Why didn't they use the fourth official in that case?
There just needs to be a system of challenges, I feel, like in American Football. Each team gets two or three challenges to check a call with instant replay. I think that's only fair in some cases. Maybe 1 challenge per half.
Thats pretty cool. HOLY SHIT! http://www.thefinalthird.com/2010/07/04/paul-the-german-octopus-picks-spain/
Guardian says it picked Spain, but I can't verify this info anywhere else. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jul/05/world-cup-2010-live-blog
That's a fake picture, it's from the match with Serbia where the octopus picked us, the Spanish flag has been photosopped in the photo. http://twitpic.com/22i0wx
Serbia can beat Germany, why can't Spain? From that live blog link you posted (click here) this is what it says... Lets hope this is correct and also hope Paul stays with an 100% accuracy.
That's also from yesterday, and is based on the fake photo. And honestly, we beat them because we had more luck in that game, not because we played better.
Fair enough. So can you find another source to prove that Paul predicted Spain? If not, I think he will pick tonight or tomorrow. What about Netherlands and Uruguay? Did he pick a game for that or is it only for Germany games?
No, he definitely still has to pick. They said it's gonna happen today in the afternoon, so it's a couple of hours from now. And he only does the Germany matches. EDIT: He just did it! The motherfucker chose Spain after all http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/St...rmany_In_World_Cup_Semi-Final_In_South_Africa
HOLY FUCK! YES! I am very excited, but you never know, this is just an Octopus and although he is 100% for all the games so far he can still go wrong. BUT YAY!
