I wonder if that's looped or if the song seriously goes like that. It sounded weird to me.

 

it sounds like they've looped a portion of the song 2 or 3 times, because if that were just in the song, that'd sound awfully weird.. at least how i picture it in my mind. all these small clips coming out are making me want to hear the whole song even more though.

I mean, I'm looking forward to the album and all, but everything I've heard (even this horribly made ringtone) has been shit from this song. The intro is a blatant rip-off of the Halloween theme. The chorus is caca. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be teh sux.

 

Yes, the first one I got from Cingular is much nicer, I agree. But, I'm intrigued by what I can sort of hear going on the background of that loop.

Actually, I didn't hear the Halloween 'rip-off-ness' from the intro at all, but maybe that's me. The bass line is totally different (the LP loop being more... happy? than the Halloween theme) and the progression of the melody lines are only similar in tone, not in the actual melody. The only thing that is similar between the two is the, I guess you would say, 'pattern' of the left and right hand piano movements, but in that case there are a LOT of songs on piano that do that same thing.

 

It's not really the fact that it sounds similar to the Halloween theme that bothers me, it's the chorus. It's worse than Somewhere I Belong, which is like... how to say, bad. lolzer

 

I'm kinda iffy about that single cover... kinda doesn't look legit.

No 'new' LP logo AAAAND the font on the single cover is the same from the site that it was taken from.

 

yeah that is definitely just a loop of something we've already heard so calling it "a new clip" is kinda false.

 

Yeah, I know Verizon had it first, but I'm a Cingular customer, so I bought it from them. Again, I'm a customer, so I feel your pain, haha...

And, just to throw my 2 pesos in, I rather enjoyed what I've heard of the song. The chorus is, in my opinion, way less irritating than the chorus of SIB. I'm just eager to see if the lyrics in the rest of the song get any better than that little refrain that I've heard.
