wow, I really like this "new" version of Into Oblivion. I must have gotten the radio edit or something previously, but I really love the "new" intro. very nice.
This so far from what i have heard is deffinately a step up from Hours, even though i liked hours it lacked what Casually dressed gave us, this album looks like it will deliver what we need.
I saw these guys on PR04 with a grand total of about 100 people watching the second stage, and I've been in love ever since.
That was the best show with more than two bands on the bill I've been to. Matt even played guitar during The Sweetest Wave, Walk Away and the bridge of Raise The Sail.
Obviously I'm probably this board's huge FFAF fan, but even with an unbiased viewpoint, this is probably my album of the year so far. It's definitely taken more play time than the new LP, probably because it's so easy and fun to listen to all the way through, where M2M has some rough points. Which is funny, because I actually found out about Funeral as they were on tour with Linkin Park a few years ago. Plus, as good as "The Little Things Give You Away" is on Minutes to Midnight, "Sweetest Wave" really outdoes it on an epic scale. I'm going to take a road trip to see these guys live for the first time in a few weeks, and I can't wait.
